This 2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre is the marque’s first electric car, shown in October 2022 and built at Goodwood, and the first of a range that is to be entirely electric by 2030; it replaces the Wraith as the two-door of the line. Two electric motors, one on each axle, draw on a 102 kWh battery for 585 PS (430 kW) and 900 Nm, with a single-speed reduction on each axle and all-wheel drive. Rolls-Royce quotes 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and a limited 250 km/h. Its aluminium spaceframe is thirty per cent stiffer than that of any earlier Rolls-Royce, and the battery also serves as sound insulation.
The car offered by VIP Motors in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is a GCC-specification, left-hand-drive example with 4,000 km, still covered by a dealer warranty and described as in excellent condition. It is painted in a deep olive green with a metallic sheen, with the illuminated grille, chrome trim and two-tone fluted wheels.
Inside, cream leather covers the doors, the dashboard and the console, set against seats and a dashboard top in yellow leather with matching piping, a black steering wheel and the lit passenger panel.
