FAQ

This BMW 550e in the European market

Is this BMW 550e priced above or below the European market?

At €69,318, it sits above the median of €65,537 for the 5 BMW 550e advertised in Europe in 2026. 60% of them are advertised for less. Asking prices are not transaction prices, and specification differences explain much of the spread.

Can this BMW 550e be bought in Germany and registered elsewhere in Europe?

The car is located in Königsbrunn, Germany. The dealer quotes it as: Excluding VAT. 19% VAT applies and is reclaimable. Cross-border purchase is normal for this kind of car, but the documentation, the certificate of conformity, transport and the registration rules of the destination country all have to be settled with the selling dealer first.

How much did this BMW 550e cost new?

The German list price of the reference version was €83,750 including 19% VAT, i.e. €70,378 excluding tax and options. The dealer asks €69,318 before German VAT: 2% below that pre-tax list price. This is a nominal, indicative comparison between different markets, dates and specifications, not a measure of depreciation.

How does the mileage of this BMW 550e compare?

4,750 km recorded, against a median of 8,400 km across the BMW 550e advertised in Europe in 2026. It is therefore among the lower-mileage cars currently listed. Service records and ownership details should be checked against the documents held by the selling dealer.

Which other BMW 550e are priced closest to this one?

a 2026 car in Germany at €65,537, and a 2026 car in Germany at €64,276. Observed in 2026. Comparing them means putting model year, mileage, factory options and the VAT basis side by side before the price itself.

Who is selling this BMW 550e, and how does a purchase work?

BayernCar, a professional dealer in Königsbrunn, Germany. LUSSO lists the car and passes enquiries to that dealer; the inspection, the negotiation, the invoice and the transfer of ownership all take place directly between the buyer and the dealer. LUSSO does not hold stock, take deposits or act as an intermediary in payment.

Can this BMW 550e be inspected before purchase?

The car is at Königsbrunn, Germany, and an inspection is arranged with the selling dealer. Buyers based in another country commonly appoint an independent inspector or a marque specialist rather than travel. Ask the dealer for the service record, the number of previous owners and any accident history, with supporting documents for the information stated in the listing.
