About the BAIC X55

The X55 is a compact crossover on a front-wheel-drive platform, 4,5 metres long, sold in Europe from 2023 with a five-year warranty. The Luxury trim carries a 12.3-inch instrument display and a second screen of the same size for the infotainment, with wireless telephone charging and a reversing camera.

BAIC Motor was founded at Beijing in 1958 and is one of the oldest Chinese carmakers, part of the state-owned BAIC Group. It built Mercedes-Benz and Hyundai models under licence for the domestic market before selling cars under its own name in Europe.
