About the Facel Vega FV2B

The FV2 series brought the wrap-around windscreen and a metal dashboard hand-painted to imitate burr wood, on a tubular chassis designed by Lance Macklin. The FV2B added the larger engine and servo-assisted brakes; 73 were built.

Facel launched the Vega at the 1954 Paris Salon, and the FV2B of 1956 was soon followed by the FV3.
