About the Genesis GV80

Built on the rear-wheel-drive M3 platform of Hyundai and Kia, the GV80 has aluminium doors, bonnet and tailgate; five seats are standard and seven are optional. Designed under SangYup Lee by Genesis teams in Korea, Europe and the United States, it was previewed in 2017 by the GV80 Concept styled by Luc Donckerwolke.

The first Genesis SUV was unveiled in January 2020 and is built at Hyundai's Ulsan plant; its European launch, delayed by the pandemic, came in summer 2021, and this 272 PS diesel was listed from February 2022 to December 2024.
