About the Isdera Spyder

The hand-built roadster is 4,160 mm long and 1,710 mm wide and weighs about 1,000 kg. Earlier Spyders used a 139 PS Volkswagen Golf GTI four and, from 1985 as the 033-16, the engine of the Mercedes 190 E 2.3-16.

Eberhard Schulz, a former Porsche designer, founded Isdera in Leonberg in 1982, and the Spyder was built there between 1983 and 1992.
