About the Lexus IS 500

Shown in February 2021, the IS 500 was the first V8 IS since the IS F. The engine needed a bonnet raised by about 2 cm, and the car adds Yamaha rear performance dampers, adaptive suspension, two-piece brake discs and four stacked exhaust tips. Top speed is 240 km/h.

Lexus builds the third-generation IS, XE30, at Toyota's Tahara plant in Japan, and sold the IS 500 chiefly in North America from autumn 2021.
