About the Maserati GranTurismo S

The shortened M139 platform of the Quattroporte V, pressed steel sections on aluminium subframes, forged aluminium suspension arms on both axles and optional Skyhook adaptive dampers, under a 2+2 body drawn by Jason Castriota at Pininfarina. The S adds 20-inch wheels, side skirts and uprated Brembo brakes. It is a genuine four-seater, with rear seats designed for adults rather than children.

Shown at Geneva in March 2008 and built at Modena until 2012, the GranTurismo S then gave way to the 460 PS GranTurismo Sport; Maserati made 28,805 GranTurismo coupés in all between 2007 and 2019.
