About the MINI Countryman
The plug-in hybrid took its drivetrain from the BMW 225xe Active Tourer. Its battery grew to 10 kWh in mid-2019, for up to 57 km of electric range and 135 km/h on electricity in the revised car.
The second Countryman, code F60, was shown at the Los Angeles show in November 2016 and built by VDL NedCar at Born, in the Netherlands, on BMW's UKL platform. The revised version reached the market in July 2020, with LED headlights as standard.
