About the Tesla Cybertruck

A single-motor rear-wheel-drive version followed in 2025. The body panels are unpainted 300-series stainless steel, steering is by wire, the rear wheels turn up to 10 degrees, and both launch versions ride on adjustable air suspension.

Tesla showed the Cybertruck as a concept in November 2019 and has built it at Gigafactory Texas in Austin since November 2023. The Foundation Series, capped at 25,000 units, opened deliveries with its own badging, most accessories and bundled software features, and was sold until January 2025.
