Wiesmann MF4 Roadster for Sale

The structure is an aluminium chassis with a hand-laid composite body, double wishbones at both ends, and a kerb weight of about 1,400 kg. Wiesmann built its cars at Dülmen from 1988, fitted BMW engines throughout, and put a gecko on every bonnet, the sign of a car that sticks to the road. The firm closed in 2014 and was revived in 2016.

Wiesmann was founded by the brothers Martin and Friedhelm Wiesmann in Dülmen, Westphalia, in 1988, and built roadsters and coupés with hand-laid bodies over aluminium chassis, always with BMW engines. Fewer than two thousand cars left the works before it closed in 2014.
