About the Triumph Scrambler 1200 X

The frame is tubular steel with an aluminium swingarm, the fork a 43 mm Marzocchi upside-down unit and the rear a pair of Marzocchi shocks with piggyback reservoirs, 170 mm of travel at each end. Two 310 mm front discs with Nissin calipers stop it, on tubeless spoked wheels of 21 and 17 inches. The seat sits at 820 mm, the bike weighs 228 kg ready to ride and the tank holds 15 litres.

The Scrambler 1200 is the off-road twin of the Bonneville family, launched in 2019 and updated in 2024. The X is the road-biased version with 170 mm of travel; the XE carries long-travel fully adjustable suspension and Brembo radial brakes for real off-road riding.
