Sold Mercedes-AMG GT C Cars

The structure is an aluminium spaceframe with a magnesium front deck, the engine set behind the front axle and the gearbox over the rear one. The GT C takes the wider rear body of the GT R, rear-axle steering and an electronic rear differential, and its fabric roof folds in eleven seconds up to 50 km/h.

Mercedes-AMG has been based at Affalterbach since 1976 and belonged to Daimler outright since 2005. Its rule of one man, one engine puts the builder's signature plate on each hand-assembled V8 and V12, and the GT and the SLS are the cars AMG designed from the ground up rather than reworked.
