1999 Gemballa GTR 500 Biturbo Cabriolet for Sale in the Netherlands

This 1999 Gemballa GTR 500 Biturbo Cabriolet is a used car showing 55,290 km. It is equipped with a manual transmission. The car is finished in Silver Metallic with a Black interior.

Gemballa, the tuning house Uwe Gemballa founded in Baden-Württemberg in 1981, took a 996 Carrera 4 Cabriolet as the starting point and converted it to full GTR 500 specification. The work centres on a twin-turbo engine quoted at around 500 hp, and, as usual with the firm, it extends to its own bodywork, wheels and cabin finishing, built to the customer's order. Only a handful of 996s received the GTR treatment, so one rarely appears for sale.

The car was delivered new in Belgium with a long list of options and keeps the all-wheel drive of its Carrera 4 base. A Dutch Porsche specialist has recently carried out substantial maintenance, and the dealer presents it in the condition of a car kept by an enthusiast.

The car is located in Brummen, Netherlands.

The Porsche 911 Carrera 4 uses the 3,387 cc water-cooled flat-six with VarioCam, mounted behind the rear axle, rated at 300 PS (221 kW) at 6,800 rpm and 350 Nm at 4,600 rpm, 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds and 280 km/h, with a six-speed manual gearbox or the Tiptronic automatic, with all-wheel drive.

FAQ

This Gemballa GTR in the European market

Can this Gemballa be bought in the Netherlands and registered elsewhere in Europe?

The car is located in Brummen, Netherlands. The dealer quotes it as: VAT included and not reclaimable: sold under the margin scheme. Cross-border purchase is normal for this kind of car, but the documentation, the certificate of conformity, transport and the registration rules of the destination country all have to be settled with the selling dealer first.

Who is selling this Gemballa GTR, and how does a purchase work?

Gallery Aaldering, a professional dealer in Brummen, Netherlands. LUSSO lists the car and passes enquiries to that dealer; the inspection, the negotiation, the invoice and the transfer of ownership all take place directly between the buyer and the dealer. LUSSO does not hold stock, take deposits or act as an intermediary in payment.

Can this Gemballa GTR be inspected before purchase?

The car is at Brummen, Netherlands, and an inspection is arranged with the selling dealer. Buyers based in another country commonly appoint an independent inspector or a marque specialist rather than travel. Ask the dealer for the service record, the number of previous owners and any accident history, with supporting documents for the information stated in the listing.

Is this Gemballa GTR still available?

LUSSO republishes what the selling dealer advertises, and a car in demand is sometimes reserved or sold before the dealer updates its own site. Confirm current availability with Gallery Aaldering before travelling or committing funds. An enquiry sent from this page reaches that dealer directly.

What is needed to register this car if it does not stay in the Netherlands?

A cross-border registration normally requires the vehicle registration document, the certificate of conformity or an equivalent type-approval record, the purchase invoice showing the VAT treatment, and proof that any tax due in the destination country has been settled. Temporary export plates and transport insurance are arranged either by the dealer or by the buyer. Requirements differ by country and should be confirmed with the selling dealer before payment.
