This 2021 Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport is the lightest and most agile version of the Chiron, which succeeded the Veyron in 2016 and takes its name from the works driver Louis Chiron. Unveiled in March 2020, the Pur Sport trades top speed for handling: a fixed rear wing, gear ratios set 15 per cent closer, springs 65 per cent stiffer at the front and 33 per cent at the rear and Michelin Sport Cup 2 R tyres, for 50 kg less than the Chiron. Its 8.0-litre quad-turbocharged W16 gives 1,500 PS (1,103 kW) and 1,600 Nm, through a seven-speed Ricardo dual-clutch gearbox and Haldex four-wheel drive. Bugatti limited it to 60 cars, built at Molsheim in Alsace.
The car offered by VIP Motors in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is a European-specification, left-hand-drive example with 3,400 km. Its body is finished in light silver over exposed carbon fibre on the lower sills, the bumpers and the side line, with an orange 16 on the horseshoe grille and orange details on the wing.
Inside, black leather and Alcantara cover the seats and the door panels, around the Alcantara steering wheel, the aluminium centre spine and the digital instruments. The equipment the dealer ticks on the listing is given below, followed by what the photographs show.
