FAQ

This Volkswagen Golf R Black Edition in the European market

Is this Volkswagen priced above or below the European market?

At £41,750, about €48,705, it sits above the median of €41,855 for the 45 Volkswagen advertised in Europe in 2026. 62% of them are advertised for less. Asking prices are not transaction prices, and specification differences explain much of the spread.

Can this Volkswagen be bought in the United Kingdom and registered elsewhere in Europe?

The car is located in Knaresborough, United Kingdom. The dealer has not stated whether the price is quoted gross, net of VAT for export, or under the margin scheme. Cross-border purchase is normal for this kind of car, but the documentation, the certificate of conformity, transport and the registration rules of the destination country all have to be settled with the selling dealer first.

How much did this Volkswagen Golf R Black Edition cost new?

The manufacturer's base list price was €60,235 in Germany, excluding options. This car is advertised at £41,750, with no VAT basis stated by the seller, so no percentage comparison is given. A list price is the launch price of the version without options, so a heavily specified car left the factory above it, and it says nothing about what the car is worth today.

How does the mileage of this Volkswagen compare?

13,939 km recorded, against a median of 48,201 km across the Volkswagen advertised in Europe in 2026. It is therefore among the lower-mileage cars currently listed. Service records and ownership details should be checked against the documents held by the selling dealer.

Which other Volkswagen are priced closest to this one?

a 2026 car in Switzerland at €47,843, and a 2021 car in the Netherlands at €49,740. Observed in 2026. Comparing them means putting model year, mileage, factory options and the VAT basis side by side before the price itself.

Who is selling this Volkswagen Golf R Black Edition, and how does a purchase work?

Redline Specialist Cars, a professional dealer in Knaresborough, United Kingdom. LUSSO lists the car and passes enquiries to that dealer; the inspection, the negotiation, the invoice and the transfer of ownership all take place directly between the buyer and the dealer. LUSSO does not hold stock, take deposits or act as an intermediary in payment.

Can this Volkswagen Golf R Black Edition be inspected before purchase?

The car is at Knaresborough, United Kingdom, and an inspection is arranged with the selling dealer. Buyers based in another country commonly appoint an independent inspector or a marque specialist rather than travel. Ask the dealer for the service record, the number of previous owners and any accident history, with supporting documents for the information stated in the listing.
