About the Lister Knobbly

The chassis is a steel-reinforced tubular space frame clothed in aluminium panels. Double wishbones lead the front wheels, while a De Dion axle with coil springs carries the rear. Conceived as a lightweight sports racing car, it keeps the curved bodywork that earned the Knobbly its nickname.

Brian Lister founded the company in Cambridge in 1954. After Andrew and Lawrence Whittaker bought it in 2013, production of the original designs restarted in 2014.
