Lister Costin for Sale

The frame is a steel-reinforced tubular space frame clothed in aluminium panels, with double wishbones and coil springs at the front and a De Dion axle with twin trailing arms at the rear. The car stands only 789 mm high. The aerodynamicist Frank Costin drew the low-drag body that replaced the curved panels of the Knobbly, trading a larger frontal area for a much cleaner shape.

Lister built the Costin in 1958 and 1959 with a Jaguar straight-six or a Chevrolet V8; sources put the original production at up to 17 cars.
