About the Maybach 62

The 62 is the long Maybach, drawn for a chauffeur: 6,165 millimetres overall, 6,171 after 2010, on a 3,827 mm wheelbase, and its number is its length in decimetres. AirMatic Dual Control air suspension with adaptive damping is standard. Standard equipment includes fully reclining rear seats, four-zone climate control, folding rear tables and a refrigerator; a retractable partition screen behind the driver was an option.

Maybach built the 62 at Sindelfingen from 2002, on a heavily reworked W140 S-Class platform, 1,058 cars in all, until production of the revived marque stopped at the end of 2012.
