1971 MV Agusta 750 S for Sale in the Netherlands

This 1971 MV Agusta 750 S is a used car showing 9,938 km. It is equipped with a manual transmission. The car is finished in Red, white and blue with a Red interior.

The 750 S, the four-cylinder sports machine that followed the 600, was made in only 583 examples, and this one has a history of its own. During the 1980s a scientist at the University of Oxford rode it to work each day. The Dutch racing driver Marcel Albers then acquired it, one month ahead of the Formula 3 accident at Thruxton that killed him in April 1992, and his relatives held on to it for more than thirty years.

It was later taken apart and rebuilt from the ground up by Alan Docking Racing in his memory, and photographs follow every stage of that work, so the restoration is fully recorded.

The car is located in Brummen, Netherlands.

The MV Agusta 750 S uses the 743 cc air-cooled double-overhead-camshaft inline four, 65 by 56 mm, with four 24 mm Dell'Orto carburettors, rated at 72 bhp (54 kW) at 9,200 rpm and a top speed of 200 km/h, with a five-speed cassette gearbox and shaft final drive. It has a half-duplex cradle frame, a Ceriani fork and a 230 mm four-leading-shoe front drum. From 1974 the front drum gave way to hydraulic twin discs.

FAQ

This MV Agusta 750 S in the European market

Can this MV Agusta be bought in the Netherlands and registered elsewhere in Europe?

The car is located in Brummen, Netherlands. The dealer quotes it as: It has a half-duplex cradle frame, a Ceriani fork and a 230 mm four-leading-shoe front drum. Cross-border purchase is normal for this kind of car, but the documentation, the certificate of conformity, transport and the registration rules of the destination country all have to be settled with the selling dealer first.

Who is selling this MV Agusta 750 S, and how does a purchase work?

Gallery Aaldering, a professional dealer in Brummen, Netherlands. LUSSO lists the car and passes enquiries to that dealer; the inspection, the negotiation, the invoice and the transfer of ownership all take place directly between the buyer and the dealer. LUSSO does not hold stock, take deposits or act as an intermediary in payment.

Can this MV Agusta 750 S be inspected before purchase?

The car is at Brummen, Netherlands, and an inspection is arranged with the selling dealer. Buyers based in another country commonly appoint an independent inspector or a marque specialist rather than travel. Ask the dealer for the service record, the number of previous owners and any accident history, with supporting documents for the information stated in the listing.

Is this MV Agusta 750 S still available?

LUSSO republishes what the selling dealer advertises, and a car in demand is sometimes reserved or sold before the dealer updates its own site. Confirm current availability with Gallery Aaldering before travelling or committing funds. An enquiry sent from this page reaches that dealer directly.

What is needed to register this car if it does not stay in the Netherlands?

A cross-border registration normally requires the vehicle registration document, the certificate of conformity or an equivalent type-approval record, the purchase invoice showing the VAT treatment, and proof that any tax due in the destination country has been settled. Temporary export plates and transport insurance are arranged either by the dealer or by the buyer. Requirements differ by country and should be confirmed with the selling dealer before payment.
