About the Kawasaki H1

A double-cradle tube frame carries a telescopic fork and a swinging arm, and a front disc brake replaced the drum in 1972. Its handling was notoriously marginal for the power, with 57% of the weight on the rear wheel.

Kawasaki built the H1 from 1969 to 1975, about 110,000 machines, born of the secret N100 Plan begun in 1967.
