This 1952 MG TD is a used car showing 88,000 km. It is equipped with a manual transmission. The car is finished in Woodland Green with a Tan interior.
It was restored some years ago with a light hand, so that its original character survived, and its detailing follows the factory specification. The outcome is a charming, mechanically healthy TD, suited to regular outings, touring events or quiet Sunday drives.
Woodland Green paint with a tan interior is the traditional combination for the model. The cabin shows a tasteful patina in keeping with its age and use, and the car comes with its canvas hood, side screens and original tool kit. Nearly the whole TD production was exported, most of it to the United States.
The car is located in Brummen, Netherlands.
The MG TD uses the 1,250 cc XPAG overhead-valve four-cylinder carried over from the TC, rated at about 54 hp (40 kW), the output of the TC, with a new four-speed manual gearbox and a hypoid-geared rear axle. It combined the Y-type saloon's chassis with independent coil-spring front suspension and rack-and-pinion steering, on 15-inch disc wheels, with bumpers as standard for the first time. It was five inches wider than the TC and was the first of the line offered with left-hand drive.

The car is located in Brummen, Netherlands. The dealer quotes it as: VAT included and not reclaimable: sold under the margin scheme. Cross-border purchase is normal for this kind of car, but the documentation, the certificate of conformity, transport and the registration rules of the destination country all have to be settled with the selling dealer first.
The manufacturer's base list price was €964 in the United Kingdom, excluding options. This car is advertised at €23,500, 2338% above that figure. A list price is the launch price of the version without options, so a heavily specified car left the factory above it, and it says nothing about what the car is worth today. That 1952 list price is converted to euros with no adjustment for inflation.
88,000 km recorded, against a median of 40,602 km across the MG advertised in Europe in 2026. It is therefore among the higher-mileage cars currently listed. Service records and ownership details should be checked against the documents held by the selling dealer.
a 1966 car in the Netherlands at €26,750, and a 1971 car in the Netherlands at €28,750. Observed in 2026. Comparing them means putting model year, mileage, factory options and the VAT basis side by side before the price itself.
