1967 Alfa Romeo Spider 1600 Duetto for Sale in the Netherlands

This 1967 Alfa Romeo Spider 1600 Duetto is a used car showing 76,455 km. It is equipped with a manual transmission. The car is finished in Avorio with a Black interior.

An early roundtail Duetto of 1967, it is one of the first-series cars, of which the seller counts 6,341 from the literature. Gallery Aaldering, which began its own story with Alfa Romeo, adds a nod to The Graduate, the film that made the model famous.

It was restored and overhauled some thirty years ago, when good new-old-stock parts were still easy to find, and still presents neatly: fresh Avorio paint, bright chrome on bumpers and hubcaps, and black upholstery, door panels, instruments and dashboard all in fine shape. On the road the twin-cam pulls without fuss, gear changes are clean and the four disc brakes inspire confidence.

The car is located in Brummen, Netherlands.

The Alfa Romeo Spider 1600 Duetto uses the 1,570 cc twin-cam four-cylinder with two side-draught Weber twin-choke carburettors, rated at 109 PS (80 kW), with a five-speed manual gearbox, disc brakes all round and a solid rear axle. Pininfarina designed and built the body on Giulia mechanicals, with a 2,250 mm wheelbase and about 990 kg; the long round tail earned it the nickname osso di seppia, cuttlebone. It was the last project Battista Pininfarina worked on.

FAQ

This Alfa Romeo Spider in the European market

Is this Alfa Romeo Spider priced above or below the European market?

At €49,950, it sits above the median of €26,750 for the 7 Alfa Romeo Spider advertised in Europe in 2026. 86% of them are advertised for less. Asking prices are not transaction prices, and specification differences explain much of the spread.

Can this Alfa Romeo Spider be bought in the Netherlands and registered elsewhere in Europe?

The car is located in Brummen, Netherlands. The dealer quotes it as: VAT included and not reclaimable: sold under the margin scheme. Cross-border purchase is normal for this kind of car, but the documentation, the certificate of conformity, transport and the registration rules of the destination country all have to be settled with the selling dealer first.

How much did this Alfa Romeo Spider cost new?

The manufacturer's base list price was €1,134 in Italy, excluding options. This car is advertised at €49,950, 4305% above that figure. A list price is the launch price of the version without options, so a heavily specified car left the factory above it, and it says nothing about what the car is worth today. That 1966 list price is converted to euros with no adjustment for inflation.

How does the mileage of this Alfa Romeo Spider compare?

76,455 km recorded, against a median of 107,229 km across the Alfa Romeo Spider advertised in Europe in 2026. It is therefore among the lower-mileage cars currently listed. Service records and ownership details should be checked against the documents held by the selling dealer.

Which other Alfa Romeo Spider are priced closest to this one?

a 2003 car in the Netherlands at €37,500, and a 1987 car in the Netherlands at €28,500. Observed in 2026. Comparing them means putting model year, mileage, factory options and the VAT basis side by side before the price itself.

Who is selling this Alfa Romeo Spider, and how does a purchase work?

Gallery Aaldering, a professional dealer in Brummen, Netherlands. LUSSO lists the car and passes enquiries to that dealer; the inspection, the negotiation, the invoice and the transfer of ownership all take place directly between the buyer and the dealer. LUSSO does not hold stock, take deposits or act as an intermediary in payment.

Can this Alfa Romeo Spider be inspected before purchase?

The car is at Brummen, Netherlands, and an inspection is arranged with the selling dealer. Buyers based in another country commonly appoint an independent inspector or a marque specialist rather than travel. Ask the dealer for the service record, the number of previous owners and any accident history, with supporting documents for the information stated in the listing.
