Overview about this 2015 McLaren P1 HDK LM 25 for sale

Lanzante built seven cars for its LM 25 programme, marking twenty-five years since the Ueno Clinic McLaren F1 GTR it ran won the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans outright. This P1 is the seventh and last of them, and the only P1 in a series that otherwise runs to a 600LT Spider, a 620R, a 765LT Spider, a P1 GTR, a Senna and a Senna GTR.

It left McLaren as a standard P1 and returned as one of nine cars to receive Lanzante's High Downforce Kit. Every panel but the original bonnet was redrawn, the car stands wider than a road P1, and the retractable rear wing gives way to the fixed wing and carbon-fibre pylons of the P1 GTR. Louvred front wings and high-mounted GTR mirrors finish the conversion.

The standard 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 was replaced during commissioning by the optional four-litre unit Lanzante developed with Cosworth Engineering for this programme alone, rated at 1,000 bhp and 1,050 Nm.

The car carries a documented service record of seven visits between April 2018 and June 2025, five of them with McLaren.

FAQ

This McLaren P1 in the European market

How this car sits against the other McLaren P1 advertised in Europe on 2026, and what to settle before a cross-border purchase.

Can this McLaren be bought in the United Kingdom and registered elsewhere in Europe?

The car is located in Hook Norton, United Kingdom. The dealer has not stated whether the price is quoted gross, net of VAT for export, or under the margin scheme. Cross-border purchase is normal for this kind of car, but the documentation, the certificate of conformity, transport and the registration rules of the destination country all have to be settled with the selling dealer first.

How does the mileage of this McLaren compare?

6,542 km recorded, against a median of 11,693 km across the McLaren advertised in Europe in 2026. It is therefore among the lower-mileage cars currently listed. Service history and previous owners are not published on LUSSO and should be confirmed with the selling dealer.

Who is selling this McLaren P1, and how does a purchase work?

Tom Hartley Jnr, a professional dealer in Hook Norton, United Kingdom. LUSSO lists the car and passes enquiries to that dealer; the inspection, the negotiation, the invoice and the transfer of ownership all take place directly between the buyer and the dealer. LUSSO does not hold stock, take deposits or act as an intermediary in payment.

Can this McLaren P1 be inspected before purchase?

The car is at Hook Norton, United Kingdom, and an inspection is arranged with the selling dealer. Buyers based in another country commonly appoint an independent inspector or a marque specialist rather than travel. Ask the dealer for the service record, the number of previous owners and any accident history: LUSSO does not publish these and cannot confirm them.

Is this McLaren P1 still available?

LUSSO republishes what the selling dealer advertises, and a car in demand is sometimes reserved or sold before the dealer updates its own site. Confirm current availability with Tom Hartley Jnr before travelling or committing funds. An enquiry sent from this page reaches that dealer directly.

What is needed to register this car if it does not stay in the United Kingdom?

A cross-border registration normally requires the vehicle registration document, the certificate of conformity or an equivalent type-approval record, the purchase invoice showing the VAT treatment, and proof that any tax due in the destination country has been settled. Temporary export plates and transport insurance are arranged either by the dealer or by the buyer. Requirements differ by country and should be confirmed with the selling dealer before payment.

Where can I see the wider McLaren market?

LUSSO publishes a market overview for the P1, covering current asking prices in Europe, availability by country, why prices differ, how VAT works on a cross-border purchase and what to compare between two cars. See the McLaren market overview
