About the Audi RS6

Four generations, four engines. The C5 of 2002 took a 4,172 cc twin-turbocharged V8 at 450 PS, 480 in Plus form. The C6 of 2008 took a 4,991 cc twin-turbocharged V10 at 580 PS, an engine with some four hundred parts of its own. The C7 of 2013 returned to a V8, 3,993 cc at 560 PS and 605 as Performance. The C8 of 2019 kept the V8 with 48-volt hybrid assistance, 600 PS and 630 as Performance.

The RS models are built by Audi Sport at Neckarsulm, the division known as quattro GmbH until 2016. The C5 and C6 were offered as saloon and Avant estate; from the C7 the RS 6 has been an Avant only.
