About the Audi 100

With flush windows and a drag coefficient of 0.30, the C3 was hailed in 1982 as the most aerodynamic production car of its time; from the 1986 model year its body was fully galvanised, and the January 1988 update brought flush door handles and a new interior.

Launched in August 1982, the C3 was replaced by the C4 in December 1990. The quattro versions of the C3 arrived in November 1984; from March 1990 the 2.3 took the 133 PS AAR engine.
