About the Ford Transit Custom

The second-generation Transit Custom was shown at the IAA Transportation in Hanover in September 2022. It comes as a panel van, double cab, Kombi and MultiCab, and the long L2 is 40 cm longer than the L1. Wheelbases run from 3,100 to 3,500 mm and overall lengths from 5,050 to 5,450 mm.

Like its predecessor, it is built by Ford Otosan in Turkey. Ford and Volkswagen have cooperated on vans since 2019, and Volkswagen sells a similar model as its Transporter.
