About the Ford Edge

The facelift shown at the Detroit motor show in January 2018 brought a revised grille, new wheels and a Bang & Olufsen Play sound system with twelve speakers, together with the eight-speed automatic. In Europe Ford sold the second-generation Edge above the Kuga, with diesel engines only and high-end trims.

Built at Oakville in Ontario, the Edge reached Europe in early summer 2016; the facelift arrived in Germany in August 2018, and this twin-turbo diesel was listed from August 2018 to December 2020, when European sales ended.
