Lamborghini Gallardo SE for Sale

The SE carries the changes Lamborghini made for the 2006 model year: revised suspension, a new steering rack, an exhaust with a flap that quietens the car in town, and shorter ratios from first to fifth that do more for its pace than the extra 20 PS. The engine sits longitudinally behind the cabin on a 2,560 mm wheelbase. With e-gear the driver changes gear on paddles behind the wheel, and an automatic mode is engaged from a selector sitting where the gear lever would otherwise be.

The Gallardo SE is a limited edition of the first-generation car and is not the Superleggera, which appeared at Geneva in 2007 with 530 PS and ran to 618 cars. The model takes its name from an eighteenth-century Spanish breeder of fighting bulls, Francisco Gallardo; Luc Donckerwolke drew it from the Italdesign Giugiaro Calà concept of 1995, and 14,022 Gallardo were built in all.
