About the Mercedes-AMG ONE

The engine revs to 11,000 rpm and needs an overhaul after 50,000 km; an MGU-K and an MGU-H work on the turbocharger and crankshaft, and two motors drive the front axle. Mercedes-AMG planned 275 cars, delivered from January 2023, and the ONE set a Nürburgring Nordschleife record of 6:29.09 in 2024.

The Project One concept was unveiled at the 2017 International Motor Show Germany by Lewis Hamilton and Dieter Zetsche, and the production car on 1 June 2022, with production starting in August. Developed at Affalterbach, the ONE takes an engine made at Brixworth by Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains, and final assembly is carried out at Coventry by Multimatic.
