This 1932 Invicta 4.5 Litre S-Type replica is a used car showing 12,345 km. It is equipped with a manual transmission. The car is finished in Green with a Black interior.
A reproduction S-Type built around a 1932 Invicta 1½-litre chassis, which shares the wheelbase and track of the 4½-litre, saved from scrap in the 1960s along with a 4½-litre Meadows engine. Its first owner found it in 1999 and had it rebuilt by the Invicta specialist Rob Pollock: the frame was boxed and fitted with S-Type crossmembers and an A-type bulkhead, Simon Parker shaped the bonnet and adapted the wings, and the seats came from a real S-Type in the United States.
The project took eleven years, until the MOT test of 18 August 2010. Brought to the Netherlands in 2017, the car was overhauled again, the block sent to England, to complete the 2018 Mille Miglia, which it did. A photo album and three files of invoices and correspondence record the work.
