1969 Maserati Ghibli 4.7 for Sale in Germany

This 1969 Maserati Ghibli 4.7 is a used car showing 69,807 km. It is powered by a 4,686 cm³ petrol engine rated at 310 PS (228 kW). It is equipped with a manual transmission. The car is finished in Dark blue metallic with a Beige interior. It is a 2-seat car and has had 4 previous owners.

A rare interim Ghibli, recognisable by the row of toggle switches set above the instruments, this coupé has power steering and comes with its original seats as well as those fitted. Supplied new to a first owner in Rome, it passed in 1976 to a noted German Maserati collector whose cars included the one-off Boomerang, then to a friend of his in Essen; it has now been in Germany for half a century.

The present owner, for many years president of the German Maserati club, bought it seventeen years ago and took it to countless meetings and tours. He had it fully restored in 2010 and 2011, and five years ago a specialist rebuilt the engine completely. It is in good overall condition and ready for the road.

The car is located in Düsseldorf, Germany.

FAQ

This Maserati Ghibli in the European market

Is this Maserati Ghibli priced above or below the European market?

At €178,000, it sits below the median of €183,750 for the 8 Maserati Ghibli advertised in Europe in 2026. 38% of them are advertised for less. Asking prices are not transaction prices, and specification differences explain much of the spread.

Can this Maserati Ghibli be bought in Germany and registered elsewhere in Europe?

The car is located in Düsseldorf, Germany. The dealer quotes it as: VAT included and not reclaimable: sold under the margin scheme. Cross-border purchase is normal for this kind of car, but the documentation, the certificate of conformity, transport and the registration rules of the destination country all have to be settled with the selling dealer first.

How much did this Maserati Ghibli cost new?

The manufacturer's base list price was €37,324 in Germany, excluding options. This car is advertised at €178,000, 377% above that figure. A list price is the launch price of the version without options, so a heavily specified car left the factory above it, and it says nothing about what the car is worth today. That 1969 list price is converted to euros with no adjustment for inflation.

How does the mileage of this Maserati Ghibli compare?

69,807 km recorded, against a median of 44,489 km across the Maserati Ghibli advertised in Europe in 2026. It is therefore among the higher-mileage cars currently listed. Service records and ownership details should be checked against the documents held by the selling dealer.

Which other Maserati Ghibli are priced closest to this one?

a 1969 car in the Netherlands at €189,500, and a 1970 car in the Netherlands at €247,500. Observed in 2026. Comparing them means putting model year, mileage, factory options and the VAT basis side by side before the price itself.

Who is selling this Maserati Ghibli, and how does a purchase work?

Movendi, a professional dealer in Düsseldorf, Germany. LUSSO lists the car and passes enquiries to that dealer; the inspection, the negotiation, the invoice and the transfer of ownership all take place directly between the buyer and the dealer. LUSSO does not hold stock, take deposits or act as an intermediary in payment.

Can this Maserati Ghibli be inspected before purchase?

The car is at Düsseldorf, Germany, and an inspection is arranged with the selling dealer. Buyers based in another country commonly appoint an independent inspector or a marque specialist rather than travel. Ask the dealer for the service record, the number of previous owners and any accident history, with supporting documents for the information stated in the listing.
