This Alfa Romeo is a GTAm-style restomod built on a 1973 Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV and offered by Motikon in Uppsala, Sweden. The 2000 GTV was the last and largest-engined version of the 105-series coupé designed at Bertone, and the GTAm of the early 1970s was its racing derivative: this car takes that look, with flared arches, gold wheels and a side exhaust, using modern parts from the British specialist Alfaholics.
The body was stripped, sandblasted and seam-welded, the underside epoxy-coated, and the doors, bonnet and boot lid replaced with lightweight aluminium panels before a repaint in Alfa Romeo Vulcano Black under full paint protection film. The engine is an Alfaholics-built Twin Spark big-valve four-cylinder rated at 215 hp, with 176 hp measured at the rear wheels; it has run 11,000 km since it was built and breathes through individual throttle bodies under EMU Black management.
A close-ratio gearbox with a 0.79 fifth gear and a limited-slip differential with a 4.55 final drive drive the rear wheels. The chassis carries the Alfaholics GTR suspension, Superleggera big brakes with adjustable bias and adjustable electric power steering, on 15-inch wheels and Pirelli P700-Z tyres. Inside are tan Cobra Misano seats, a billet aluminium interior package, carbon-fibre panels, Speedhut instruments and a full roll cage, and the seller quotes 970 kg.
