A G 63 6x6 delivered new with 240 kilometres, in Light Green Magno over a customised white Nappa leather cabin with green stitching and carbon fibre trim.

The 3,982 cm³ twin-turbo V8 is quoted by the dealer at 585 PS, 430 kW, through an automatic gearbox, which is the standard G 63 output: the work here went into the chassis, not the engine. Mercedes built a factory 6x6 on the previous G-Class and never repeated it on this one, so every three axle car of this generation is a conversion.

The conversion is thorough and mechanical rather than cosmetic. An extended reinforced frame carries a third axle with lengthwise and crosswise differential locks at 100 percent, portal gearboxes, reinforced front wheel suspension and 2.65 inch high performance dampers. It runs 37 by 12.5 R20 mud terrain tyres on beadlock rims, with a central tyre inflation system that lets pressures be changed from the cabin. A front mounted winch and a bullbar are fitted.

The body is a double cab with a pickup bed, carbon fender flares, carbon exterior parts, a carbon roof attachment with LED headlights, black piano trim and black side steps.

Inside, the white Nappa is stitched in green to answer the paint, with the Burmester 3D surround system, a black microfibre roof liner, showcased ambient lighting, Energizing Comfort Control, Exclusive Line Interior Plus, the active multicontour seat package and the parking package.
