Overview about this Porsche 935 Moby Dick for sale

A Porsche 935, one of the seventy-seven built for the 2019 customer racing programme, and one of three finished in Salzburg Red. It has covered 30 km and is offered with its spare parts package.

This is a track car and nothing else: Porsche never homologated the 935 for the road, and no registration is possible. Underneath the bodywork is the 911 GT2 RS, a 3.8 litre flat six turbo of 700 PS driving the rear wheels through a seven speed PDK with shortened ratios, a titanium shaft and a motorsport limited slip differential.

The body is carbon fibre over a hybrid aluminium and steel chassis, drawn from the 935/78 that raced at Le Mans in 1978 and gave the car its nickname. It carries the GT3 R rear wing, a full FIA roll cage, a carbon roof with an escape hatch, a 115 litre FT3 fuel cell, three onboard air jacks and 911 RSR mirrors.

Inside there is a Recaro race seat with a six point harness for use with a HANS device, a Cosworth display and logger, a carbon quick release wheel with pit limiter and shift paddles, an electrically triggered extinguisher system, air conditioning and a dash plaque carrying the car's edition number.

FAQ

This Porsche 935 in the European market

How this car sits against the other Porsche 935 advertised in Europe on 2026, and what to settle before a cross-border purchase.

Is this Porsche 935 priced above or below the European market?

At €2,000,000, it sits above the median of €1,649,500 for the 6 Porsche 935 advertised in Europe in 2026. 83% of them are advertised for less. Asking prices are not transaction prices, and specification differences explain much of the spread. See the listings

Can this Porsche 935 be bought in Germany and registered elsewhere in Europe?

The car is located in Hechingen, Germany. The dealer quotes it as: Export price excluding VAT. VAT deductible. Cross-border purchase is normal for this kind of car, but the documentation, the certificate of conformity, transport and the registration rules of the destination country all have to be settled with the selling dealer first.

How much did this Porsche 935 cost new?

The manufacturer's base list price was €702,000 in Europe, excluding options. This car is advertised at €2,000,000, 185% above that figure. A list price is the launch price of the version without options, so a heavily specified car left the factory above it, and it says nothing about what the car is worth today.

How does the mileage of this Porsche 935 compare?

30 km recorded, against a median of 60 km across the Porsche 935 advertised in Europe in 2026. It is therefore among the lower-mileage cars currently listed. Service history and previous owners are not published on LUSSO and should be confirmed with the selling dealer.

Which other Porsche 935 are priced closest to this one?

a car in Germany at €1,700,000, and a car in Germany at €1,700,000. Observed in 2026. Comparing them means putting model year, mileage, factory options and the VAT basis side by side before the price itself. See the listings

Who is selling this Porsche 935, and how does a purchase work?

Auto Seredin, a professional dealer in Hechingen, Germany. LUSSO lists the car and passes enquiries to that dealer; the inspection, the negotiation, the invoice and the transfer of ownership all take place directly between the buyer and the dealer. LUSSO does not hold stock, take deposits or act as an intermediary in payment.

Can this Porsche 935 be inspected before purchase?

The car is at Hechingen, Germany, and an inspection is arranged with the selling dealer. Buyers based in another country commonly appoint an independent inspector or a marque specialist rather than travel. Ask the dealer for the service record, the number of previous owners and any accident history: LUSSO does not publish these and cannot confirm them.
