About the McLaren Elva

The Elva is an open two-seater without roof or, in its standard form, windscreen: the Active Air Management System raises a wall of air over the cabin up to 40 km/h. Built at Woking on the MonoCage III carbon tub, it weighs 1,269 kg, and production was cut from 399 to 149 cars.

Fifth in the Ultimate Series after the F1, the P1, the Senna and the Speedtail, the Elva is named for the M1A, M1B and M1C of 1964 to 1967, Bruce McLaren's open-top race cars whose production was outsourced to the British manufacturer Elva. Designed by Rob Melville, it was unveiled in Dubai, and the windscreen version at the 2021 Salon Privé.
