About the McLaren GTS
The structure is a MonoCell II-T carbon fibre monocoque, the T standing for the rear luggage bay that holds 420 litres above the engine, with another 150 at the front. The GTS replaced the GT in mid-2024, at 1,520 kg.
McLaren Automotive has built every road car on a carbon fibre tub since the MP4-12C of 2011, and splits its range into the Sports Series, the Super Series and the Ultimate Series. The LT badge, revived from the F1 GTR Longtail, marks the lightened and shorter-geared versions.
