Mercedes-AMG G 55 for Sale

The G-Class keeps the ladder frame and the two rigid axles of the off-roader it descends from. For the 2009 model year AMG gave the G 55 a radiator grille with three thick slats, embossed KOMPRESSOR lettering beneath the V8 badge on the front wings and new titanium-grey alloy wheels. The cabin keeps the upright glasshouse and the flat bonnet of the original, so the driver sits high and sees all four corners of the car.

This 507 PS version was built from 2008 to 2012 at Graz in Austria, where the G-Class has been made since 1979. In 2012 the supercharged 5.4-litre V8 gave way to the 5.5-litre biturbo of the G 63 AMG.
