About the Morgan Plus Four
The platform is the bonded aluminium CX-Generation structure, and the body frame over it is still made of ash, as Morgan has done since the 1930s. It weighs about 1,010 kg, measures 3,830 mm long and 1,250 mm high, and has been built at Malvern since 2020.
Morgan has built cars in Malvern since 1909 and still shapes the body frame from ash. The CX-Generation bonded aluminium platform, introduced with the Plus Six in 2019, replaced the steel chassis the marque had used since 1936 and now carries the whole range.
