About the Morgan Plus Six

The Plus Six is the first Morgan to give up the sliding pillar of 1910: a bonded aluminium platform called CX carries double wishbones at the front, and the car is nearly twice as stiff as the one before it. The ash body frame stays.

Morgan builds its cars at Malvern Link in Worcestershire, in the same works since 1919, and the body frame is still made of ash: not for the look of it, but because the marque has never changed the method.
