The Silver Wraith was the first post-war Rolls-Royce, announced in April 1946 and supplied from Crewe as a rolling chassis only, on a new 127-inch frame with independent front suspension, for coachbuilders such as H.J. Mulliner to body; 1,883 were made before 1958.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has belonged to BMW since 1998 and has built every car at Goodwood, in West Sussex, since 2003. The 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 is its own and is fitted to nothing else, and the Bespoke department will paint, trim and inlay a car to an owner's order.
The available examples are all from the 1947 model year.
