The separate chassis, on a 3.35 m wheelbase from 1930, has four-wheel drum brakes with a mechanical servo driven from the gearbox, and was delivered as a rolling chassis for coachbuilders to body. Its engine, with twin carburettors and a sportier camshaft, became the basis of the Bentley 3½ Litre.
