About the Triumph Street Triple R

The frame is an aluminium twin-spar beam, and the R grade adds a Kayaba 41 mm fork adjustable in preload, compression and rebound, a preload-adjustable Kayaba monoshock and twin 308 mm Nissin front discs. The three-cylinder sits between a twin and a four in character: it pulls low down like the first and revs like the second, and Triumph has built its road motorcycles around this layout since 1991.

The Street Triple has carried Triumph's middleweight triple since 2007, first at 675 cc and, from 2017, at 765 cc, the capacity that also powers the Moto2 world championship. The range runs from the R to the RS and, at the top, the Öhlins-suspended RX.
