Sold Porsche 911 GT3 RS Cars

RS stands for Rennsport, racing sport. The RS is the track-focused reading of the GT3: carbon fibre panels, polycarbonate rear window, less weight. Four generations are on the market, 997.1, 991, 991.2 and 992, all with the naturally aspirated flat-six.

The GT3 was born in 1999 as a homologation model for the GT class, and the RS takes that idea further still. The name Rennsport goes back to the 911 Carrera RS of 1973, the car the whole GT line descends from.
