The GT3 RS is the most aerodynamically extreme road 911 Porsche has built. The 3,996 cm³ naturally aspirated flat six is quoted at 525 PS, 386 kW, and revs to 9,000 rpm through a dual clutch gearbox. To make room for the aerodynamics Porsche moved the cooling to a single central radiator in the nose, as on the 911 RSR, which freed the front wheel arches for through flow vents; the swan neck rear wing rises above the roofline and its upper element, working with flaps in the front underbody, acts as a drag reduction system.

This car carries the Weissach package and the Clubsport package together, and with them the carbon roof, carbon sideblades, carbon exterior mirror housings, carbon interior trim, the black matt aluminium and carbon interior package, full bucket seats, illuminated carbon door sill guards, an Alcantara roof lining and a microfibre centre armrest.
