This 2024 Porsche 718 Spyder RS is the open version of the Cayman GT4 RS. It uses the naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six of the 911 GT3, which revs to 9,000 rpm and gives 500 PS (368 kW) and 450 Nm, through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox, the only one offered on this version. The car takes the running gear of the GT4 RS but leaves out its fixed wing, keeping a ducktail spoiler and a lightweight two-piece roof fitted by hand; the air intakes sit behind the headrests, so the induction noise reaches the cabin directly.
The car offered by VIP Motors in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is a European-specification, left-hand-drive example with 3,000 km, still under warranty according to the dealer. It carries the Weissach package, with a carbon-fibre bonnet with NACA ducts and the Weissach plaque on the dashboard, and is finished in grey with red Spyder RS lettering, silver five-spoke wheels and red calipers.
Inside, black Race-Tex with red inserts covers the seats, and the floor mats and seat centres are red. No option list is published; the equipment below sets out what the listing and its photographs show.
Equipment as listed by the dealer. Verify the specification with the dealer before purchase.
