About the Porsche 718 Spyder RS

The open car takes the running gear of the Cayman GT4 RS and leaves out its fixed wing, keeping a ducktail spoiler and a two-piece lightweight roof that is fitted by hand. The air intakes sit behind the seats, close to the ear. The intakes sit behind the headrests rather than in the flanks, so the induction noise reaches the cabin directly, and the roof is a manual cover that the driver folds by hand.

The Spyder RS arrived in 2023 as the open version of the hardest 718, and Porsche ended the 982 range in 2025.
