Fiat 1100 S for Sale

Derived in 1947 from the 1100 B and designed under Dante Giacosa, the 1100 S was an aerodynamic sports coupé without bumpers, with enclosed rear wheels and a top speed of 150 km/h. It keeps the separate frame and independent front suspension of the 1100 family. Fiat built 401 examples until 1950, and the model took second place overall in the 1948 Mille Miglia.

Carrozzeria Colli, founded in Milan in 1931 by Giuseppe Colli and his four sons, specialised in aluminium bodies; its very first car was a competition car built on Fiat 1100 chassis and mechanicals.
