1970 Kreidler Racer 50 HES-team for Sale in the Netherlands

This 1970 Kreidler Racer 50 HES-team is a used car showing 100 km. It is equipped with a manual transmission. The car is finished in Red.

Rather than a production Kreidler, this 50 cc racer is a special built by hand by the HES team, the initials of Hennie Ekelschot Special, in the period when the German marque ruled the smallest Grand Prix class. Its engine was assembled with Van Veen components, and it was Erik Wiersma and Eef van Mill raced it at international level.

The machine keeps its minimal fairing, slim frame and small tank perched over the cylinder. The dealer describes it as well preserved and suited either to display in a collection or to a return to the track in historic events.

Kreidler dominated the 50 cc world championship for a decade, with seven titles between 1971 and 1982, and the Dutch riders Jan de Vries and Henk van Kessel won three of them, de Vries on the Van Veen machine in 1971. The German maker went out of business in 1982, which makes its racing specials a closed chapter.

The car is located in Brummen, Netherlands.

FAQ

This Kreidler Racer in the European market

Can this Kreidler be bought in the Netherlands and registered elsewhere in Europe?

The car is located in Brummen, Netherlands. The dealer quotes it as: VAT included and not reclaimable: sold under the margin scheme. Cross-border purchase is normal for this kind of car, but the documentation, the certificate of conformity, transport and the registration rules of the destination country all have to be settled with the selling dealer first.

Who is selling this Kreidler Racer, and how does a purchase work?

Gallery Aaldering, a professional dealer in Brummen, Netherlands. LUSSO lists the car and passes enquiries to that dealer; the inspection, the negotiation, the invoice and the transfer of ownership all take place directly between the buyer and the dealer. LUSSO does not hold stock, take deposits or act as an intermediary in payment.

Can this Kreidler Racer be inspected before purchase?

The car is at Brummen, Netherlands, and an inspection is arranged with the selling dealer. Buyers based in another country commonly appoint an independent inspector or a marque specialist rather than travel. Ask the dealer for the service record, the number of previous owners and any accident history, with supporting documents for the information stated in the listing.

Is this Kreidler Racer still available?

LUSSO republishes what the selling dealer advertises, and a car in demand is sometimes reserved or sold before the dealer updates its own site. Confirm current availability with Gallery Aaldering before travelling or committing funds. An enquiry sent from this page reaches that dealer directly.

What is needed to register this car if it does not stay in the Netherlands?

A cross-border registration normally requires the vehicle registration document, the certificate of conformity or an equivalent type-approval record, the purchase invoice showing the VAT treatment, and proof that any tax due in the destination country has been settled. Temporary export plates and transport insurance are arranged either by the dealer or by the buyer. Requirements differ by country and should be confirmed with the selling dealer before payment.
