The 991-generation GT2 RS uses rear-axle steering and a motorsport-derived chassis. The optional Weissach Package reduces weight with carbon-fibre and titanium parts and magnesium wheels; it is a package, not a separate engine variant.

Porsche introduced the 991-generation 911 GT2 RS at Goodwood in 2017 as the most powerful series-production 911 of its time. The Weissach Package was optional and was priced separately from the German base list price of €285,220 including VAT.
